  1. Do you feel that submitting to articles is the best way to get your message out there about what you do and get sales in real estate? That is only one way. There are many, many more ways. The more ways you have going on at one time will bring a lot more results and get your own massive targeted leads. Would you agree? I came across your question while I was just looking at this site from yahoo answer. I had many questions too before I started making money on the internet. The internet is free and marketing your business or any business on the internet should be free. I took a free course that taught me the right answer and step by step what to do to make it happen. I did however join his team to get the training the exact way to get the best results. It changed my life, I believe it will change yours too. I got my information at the site below. Just go there. All the steps starting out will be in an email. Just sign up and check your email to get started. You even get the phone number to someone that will talk with you and work with you. You will not get a recording. Just try it out you will see what I mean.

  2. Yes you are right.. Most of the directories are dead. It is because the article directories are based on the google adsense model. There is no point in submitting to the dead directories.

Here is a list of quality article directories which are very active and have a fast approval time. All the article directories are human approved and accept only quality articles. The article directory list is constantly up-dated and refined to ensure that we submit your articles to the best and popular article directory. Most of the directories distribute your article to industry specific websites and blogs in the form of feeds emails etc.

    The list of directories

    are free to submit
    distribute content over web
provide quality back-links to your website.
    are indexed by search engines.
are established and crawled by search engines regularly

    Here is the list

The list is updated every month..

  3. Article directories are far from being dead. They’re a good source of one way links back to your website.

You can get more details from this site:

  4. Better post your article on blog with a link pointing to your site. Article directories now has less value.

  5. “Article directories are far from being dead. They’re a good source of one way links back to your website.”

This statement is completely false. Article directories have recently ( 2007 ) seen loss of PageRank and individual categories within most article directories have been removed from the Google index. So, a one way link from a directory that is not even in the index is absolutely no good at all.

Blogs are the best way to get your article seen, read and indexed. I work with several websites that are syndicating content to bloggers with very good results.

Don’t waste your time with article directories.

  6. k j

I usually only submit to 3-6 best directories, such as EZ,the other article directories not worth to submit, don’t spend much time in submit, few best article directories is enough.Article marketing is I think still a good way to promote your site, mostly for your page rank.I also use an automatic create articles system( ) for bum marketing to create articles,it works very well.

  7. Check the Directory of Article Directories indicated below as my ’source’…

Submit to any niche directories that have the same theme as the topic of your article because the search engines like inbound links to your own website, linked to in your article’s author’s resource box, from other website of the same genre.

Also submit to the miscellaneous, or multiple category article directory sites (in their most appropriate category for your article’s topic) that have a high Google PR indicated.

While not a fool proof indicator of its authority, Page Rank is a decent barometer for how often its spidered, at least by the Google bot, and a measure of how much human traffic it may get.

    Hope that helps! :-)
