real estate seo

I own 1482 real estate websites and I have researched SEO, is the following information a complete list of what I need to have done to my websites to be ranked high within most SE’s?

- Alt tags on images – make dynamic on all websites
- Dynamic page content on all landing pages/websites
- Include description of landing pages within the Titles
- Ezine marketing with links back to website
- Press release with links back to websites
- Links back to websites from quality sites
- HTML Banner inserted on all non home pages – appears only if they do not enter from a home page/landing page
- Site map on all websites
- dymanic geographic map of the US with links to all sites

  1. Here’s a few more:
    - Use the keywords several times in the content of the page, preferably close to the top of the page. By the same token, try to minimize the coding of the page so that the HTML doesn’t push your content way down on the page.

    - Include meta description tags on your pages to control the content that will be displayed on the SE results page. I.e., make your page attractive for the viewer to want to click it.

    - MOST IMPORTANTLY, choose your keywords wisely. Don’t just pick “real estate” as there are probably millions of sites with those words. What is unique about your real estate sites that match with a niche market? For example, it would be better to use “Boise real estate”, “houses in Boise” if your site was catering to Boise homebuyers.

  2. The main thing will be your title tag, keyword rich content and inbound links into the site.

Keyword research using wordtracker.com or even Google’s keyword tool will help you find good keywords. Real estate is extremely competitive so spending time on finding niche keywords will help.

You may also submit an XML site map to google webmaster tools and Yahoo site explorer to help get all your pages spidered. This is particularly helpful on very large websites.

Work on writing good content for human beings first but be mindful of your keyword phrases as you are writing it.

Have a good link structure on the site so that there are no orphaned pages and so that search engine spiders can get a round.

Search engines look at anchor text (the text in a link) in internal site links as well as inbound links from other websites. So be mindful of the wording of your links (but don’t spam or be unnatural for a human being).

Don’t forget the RSS Feed. You can create your own this will also help.

If your 1482 websites are not hosted on separate C blocks, nothing you do will successfully optimize your website for search for any significant length of time. That is quite a large network of sites.
